Samsung Galaxy W with 7 inch screen is officially announced to be a tablet

So it is now officially announced in South Korea that the new Samsung Galaxy W should be considered as a phablet and not a tablet in spite of its large 7.0 inch screen. Samsung has now successfully blurred the lines between a phablet and a proper tablet.

Samsung Galaxy W (2014) Specifications

  • 7 inch display, 1280 x 720 pixels resolution
  • 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage
  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, TouchWiz UI
  • 8 MP rear camera, AF, LED flash, full HD 1080p video recording, 2 MP front camera
  • 4G LTE-A, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, A-GPS, MicroUSB port
  • 32oo mAh battery

It should not be confused with the Samsung Galaxy W i8150 though. It is currently only available in South Korea and there is no information if it would be released in India, or for that matter, in global markets.
