Nokia India to Launch Nokia X Forked Android Phone on March 10

Nokia’s most awaited forked Android smartphone, the Nokia X will be launched in India on 10 March. Nokia India has sent us an invite for an event on March 10, where it will launch the Nokia X.

We expect; Nokia may also announce its other forked android phones the  X+ and XL. The Nokia X would start retailing for Rs.8,499 approx in Indian market.

The Nokia X comes with a 4-inch IPS capacitive display, powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM, 3MP camera and Dual SIM. The device has 4GB of internal storage and tile-based user interface inspired by Nokia Lumia smartphones. It will be available in bright green, bright red, cyan, yellow, black and white.

Nokia X is 3G smartphone runs on forked version of Android OS. It doesn’t have Google Play Store, however user can download Android Apps from Nokia's App store that boasts a combination of its own and Microsoft’s. With the purchase of any Nokia X family smartphone, people will  free cloud storage using OneDrive and one month of Skype’s Unlimited World Subscription for a limited time, ideal to make international calls to landlines in more than 60 countries and to mobile phones in 8 countries.
