Gionee is trying to establish itself as a slightly premium smartphone company as compared to the likes of the Micromax, Karbonn, Lava and a slew of other manufacturers. The M2 comes across as a good device with a really good battery back up and in this age when smartphones usually don't last a day on a single charge, the M2 is expected to last about a couple of days. So if you are always on the go, the M2 accounts for a good device.
