Airtel and Handygo Launches ‘Gadget Guide’ Service Powered with Content by Rajiv Makhni

Bharti Airtel and handygo - leading Value Added Services (VAS) provider, today announced the launch of ‘Gadget Guide’- the country’s first ever mobile based gadget update service for Airtel postpaid and prepaid customers across all circles.




Powered with content by India’s tech guru, Rajiv Makhni, the service will be available exclusively to Airtel mobile customers and will empower them with gadget updates and reviews via SMS and videos on WAP. Gadget lovers can now learn all about the new gadget launches and reach out to their favorite tech idol with just a few clicks.

The service would update customers with reviews and news on new gadget launches via SMS and provide links to news videos that can be accessed on WAP.

Airtel mobile customers can subscribe to the service at price of Rs.10 for 7 days by messaging SUB GG to 55678. The WAP page content can be accessed at Rs.3. Subscribers will get two SMS and one video per day detailing the gadgets. On the WAP platform handygo will profile the latest device that is being launched or is to be launched in the future.

The service would soon be updated to build a live encyclopedia of gadget information which mobile customers can access by just logging on the WAP platform. Customers will be able to access relevant information on any gadget of their choice and also chat live with Rajiv Makhni on their unique queries.
