I bought 3g device on November/22/2010 1(One) year Plan(Rs.7800(with device-In Chennai area-9884051075). He told that 3g come in India December 2010. But Still not come 3G in India. I have speed of 3g device maximum 200 kbbs always comes speed of 100 kbbs and download speed 12 kbbs. When will come 3G in india? Suppose come 3G in India how much speed come? Please reply me guys.

For heavens sake, stop promoting with false promises. The maximum speed which i am getting on average in Chennai is 2kbps and that too in the heart of Chennai City. When there is less network congestion at 3:00 AM in the morning, the average speed would be 9kbps. The vodafone network deliberately disables streaming of video and voice content, they also make sure that rendering of images takes a lot of time.
A best approach at the time of buying is to ask for the vodafone showroom guys to access youtube and to stream a video. By doing so you can judge the speed for yourself.
Please go for this product if you want to waste Rs.7000.

It is possible now. I have unlocked it. At first calculate only Flash code by going to the site http://bb5.at/huawei.php?imei=############### . Replace stars by IMEI No. of the modem. Write down Flash code on a paper. After that download Dashboard updater file at http://depositfiles.com/en/files/ko1rzu6gy . Run the file and enter flash code when asked for a code. Within a minute dashboard will be updated. Now the modem is unlocked. And also warranty will not void, because the software of Idea Net Setter will not change.

Buy any modem whether it is locked or unlocked. Unlock it yourself. Unlocking is very easy.

3G stick at 1950 is a good deal and in addition to this if 3G plans are affordable then this is the perfect deal : )
