Reliance Communications (Rcom) join the bandwagon of BBM and announced the launch of Youth oriented and most affordable BlackBerry service plan – Only BBM-129 for its prepaid and postpaid customers (GSM, 3G and CDMA) across all circles in India.
Reliance Mobile’s Only BBM Plan-129 offers Unlimited FREE access to BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) , one of the largest mobile social networks, plus 600 Local and National SMS Free for Prepaid customers. While for Postpaid customer the Free SMS will be 500 sms per month.
BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) is an instant messaging app exclusively for BlackBerry smartphone owners. BBM lets you communicate in real time with the people who matter most with features like confirmation when message have been delivered and read, and the ability to send Pictures, Videos, Voice notes, Files lot and more with multiple contacts.
To subscribe, existing and new prepaid Reliance Mobile customers needs to send SMS ACT BBMPRS129 to 53739. While Postpaid customer can contact Reliance Customer Care 1800 3000 8989 (Toll free) from any phone; or *389 (toll free) from your Reliance BlackBerry.

lol, please stop, r u used any BB plans with any operator, no body going to buy 3g instead of paying more.. because bb 3g is costly.. even 2G roll out is better.. when ever u went to rural.. u will get EDGE network only.. dont think and act like a fool.. reliance.. need more clarity network… because they dont have 3G all over india.

Idea giving just 100 SMS and its plan is just available for Postpaid users in Gujrat circle only check this post by telecomtalk telecomtalk.info/idea-launches-only-bbm-plan-for-rs-99/89150/
Total cost in Idea will be 99+ Service Tax = Rs.111 and you get BBM + 100 SMS while in Reliance its BBM + 600 SMSes at Rs.129 (only 18 Rs.more and you will ger 6 time more free smses.)
Reliance Plan is same for Postpaid / Prepaid / CDMA / GSM and 3G in all circles but Idea’s plan just for one circle and only for 2G not for 3G !!
Reliance deal is 600 time better from Idea.

Idea is giving BBM in just 99 rs per month. Reliance is useless with irrespobsible customerservice and highly intrrupted network with huge call drops and congestion.

Reliance gsm is good in chennai , i am enjoying there service especially there customer care improved a lot and gprs is the one which i really enjoy the most excellent speed in my android phone. And there voice service is also excellent just i recharged for rs 70 and i am getting reliance to reliance calls at 5p /min and other local calls for 30p/min and every month 600mb free for six months very fast cus service .

Its better to give a plan for Rs 129 for unlimited access for FB, Twitter and 500 sms/month, really helps BB to push the stock handsets.

Social Network apps (Twitter, Facebook) and SMS are dominant in Indian youth. BBM is very low in the usage. Will it reach to masses?

Reliance keeps changing plans.. In Reliance gsm prepaid they recently changed the validity from 30 days to 15 days in rs 148 local mins pack.. increase by 100%..

Reliance GSM 3G is one of the Very Best Network Service Providers. This u will know after u experience its current Network. I wish Reliance GSM becomes the No.1 GSM Service Provider of India. I have ported into Reliance & have never regreted it.

@Raghu Without using the BlackBerry u cant predict the test of BB. Internet is NOT slow on BlacBerry if ur device is good (Might be ur friend using crap/outdated 8520).

Its good that Reliance offering same plan for GSM and CDMA both, other CDMA opertaor MTS is total fail in terms of BlackBerry Service and Plans.

this is not a new plan. Now it is high time they reduce the rates for Blackberry Messenger as well as Un-limited from Rs 399 to Rs 199/month atleast . What they are charging highly exhorbitant rates and the NET is also quite slow in BB. i have seen this in so many of frnds mobiles the net speed.
