India’s first 3G Mobile service operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced the launch of New Trump Vidyarthi Plan with Unlimited Free Local calls and SMS (OwnNet) , Free 3G service and lowest other network call charges for its 2G and 3G GSM mobile service (Trump) users in Delhi & NCR telecom circle.
With the new Vidyarthi plan MTNL’s Delhi prepaid mobile subscribers can enjoy Unlimited Free Local calls and SMS with in MTNL Network (Mobile/Landline/CDMA) while local calls to all other network will be charged at 50p per minute (earlier it was Rs.1).All STD calls to anywhere in India will cost 75p per minute. All customers now entitle to use free 3G services with this plan and Local Video calls to MTNL Network will be charged at 20paisa while STD Video calls will cost 75paisa/Minute.
To avail the New Trump Vidyarthi Plan, existing MTNL Trump prepaid 2G and 3G customers can recharge with RC310 which comes at Rs.310 with talk time worth Rs.106, Free 100 local video calls and 100 MB GPRS/3G Data usage. The plan will valid for 30 days from the date of activations. New customer can buy this plan with Trump Vidyarthi SIM kit at Rs.350.

earlier they had plan of 399 for unltd onnet (mumbai). now its at 310/-(delhi) still its costly. i think it needs to b below 200.

in haryana bsnl provide unlimited local sms to onnet or offnet without any recharge in student power plan but call charge of this plan is high 90paise/min local and 1.50rs std

Apart from the STD charges, everything is good as Rs310 voucher comes with Rs106TT.. Here BSNL give unlimited Local on-net FREE for Rs300/month without TT.. But it is for FULL state anyway…
