Xiaomi Mi A3 which is launching in India on August 21 will likely start retailing at a price of Rs 14,998, according to Amazon India's Lightning deals page. Going by the Amazon India listings, the Mi A3 will arrive in India in three colours and two variants with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Ishan Agarwal, the popular tipster, posted an image of Amazon India listing on Twitter revealing the prices of both the variants. The Xiaomi Mi A3's base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage will cost Rs 14,998, whereas the Mi A3 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage will retail for Rs 17,498. If these prices are anything to go by, the Mi A3 is priced on the higher side, considering it has the Snapdragon 665 SoC and HD+ display on board.

Xiaomi Mi A3: Pricing Leaked a Day Ahead of Launch

Going by the listing, the Xiaomi Mi A3 will arrive in three colours- Not Just Blue, More Than White and Kind of Grey, and all the colours will be available in two variants- 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. Last year's Mi A2 also arrived in two variants and three colour options- Black, Gold and Red (limited edition model). Xiaomi first launched the 4GB+64GB variant of the Mi A2 in India, followed by the premium 6GB+128GB storage model. To recall, the Mi A2 was priced at Rs 16,999 for the 4GB+64GB model and Rs 19,999 for the 6GB+128GB model.

Today's Amazon India listing reveals the prices of Mi A3 as Rs 14,998 and Rs 17,498. That said, these are not the official prices, but we believe that the official ones maybe around the similar range. The Xiaomi Mi A1 started at Rs 13,999, whereas the Mi A2 arrived at Rs 16,999. The Mi A3 has some major disadvantages going its way- especially the Snapdragon 665 chipset and the HD+ panel, and it will be interesting to see how Xiaomi India prices the smartphone.

With the Realme 5 teased to arrive at a price less than Rs 10,000, Xiaomi India has a job to do in their hands. The Realme 5 is also expected to ship with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and quad rear cameras for under Rs 9,999. The Realme 5 is launching in India tomorrow, whereas the Mi A3 is coming out on August 21.

Xiaomi Mi A3: Specifications and Features

Xiaomi's Mi A3 is an Android One smartphone like its predecessors and it runs a stock version of Android 9 Pie with a couple of Xiaomi apps. The highlights of the Mi A3 include triple rear cameras of 48MP+8MP wide-angle sensor+2MP depth sensor and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Xiaomi may have gone with an HD+ panel for the Mi A3, but the company has included an in-display fingerprint sensor and it will be the third phone from Xiaomi to launch in the country with the said feature after the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones. There's a 32MP selfie camera on the front.

The phone has a 6-inch screen on the front and it's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Mi A3 has a 4030mAh battery with support for fast charging and it even offers 3.5mm headphone jack something we missed a lot on the Mi A2.
