The much-awaited Vivo Y21 has been launched in the Indian market. Vivo was hinting at the launch of Vivo Y21 for a long period. The smartphone has been priced in the budget segment to directly compete with smartphones like Samsung Galaxy M32 and Realme 8 5G. The key specifications of the device include a 5000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Vivo Y21 features a waterdrop notch display with a rectangular-shaped module at the back. The side fingerprint sensor is another intriguing feature of the Vivo Y21 to offer a seamless handling experience to customers.




Vivo Y21: Specifications and Features

The Vivo Y21 features a 6.51-inch HD+ Halo FullView display with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 20:9 screen aspect ratio. Under the surface, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset paired with IMG PowerVR GE 8320 GPU. The smartphone runs on 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

However, users get the option to expand the internal storage via a microSD card. Talking about camera specifications, the Vivo Y21 packs a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. Towards the front, the smartphone houses an 8MP camera for selfies. Vivo Y21 runs on Android 11 along with FunTouch OS skin out of the box. Connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G LTE, GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-Type C for charging. The smartphone comes to life with a 5000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

Vivo Y21: Pricing and Availability

Vivo Y21 is available in two different colour options, which are Diamond Blue and Midnight Blue. Vivo has launched the smartphone in two different storage options. The 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is available for Rs 13,990, whereas the 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is available for Rs 15,490.

At this price point, Vivo Y21 will compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy F22 that houses a 6000 mAh battery and octa-core MediaTek processor. As for availability, the Vivo Y21 will be available on both offline and online channels like Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Vivo India e-store and retail partners of Vivo.
