HMD Global re-launched the almost two-decade-old Nokia Banana phone with a new design and upgraded internal hardware, software earlier this year at Mobile World Congress 2018. Months later, that is in the second week of October, HMD finally decided to bring the Nokia 8110 4G to India. The company launched the Nokia 8810 4G Banana phone in India alongside the Nokia 3.1 Plus on October 11. Today is the first time that the Nokia 8810 4G phone will go on sale in the country across offline stores and Nokia’s online shop. It’s priced at Rs 5,999.

Nokia 8810 4G: Price in India and Availability
The 4G enabled feature phone from Nokia will be available for purchase across both offline and online Nokia retail partner stores. It will also be available on Nokia’s own online store. HMD has also partnered with Reliance Jio to offer up to 544GB free 4G data to the consumers. The company, however, is yet to announce the exact details regarding the offer.
At Rs 5,999, with the Nokia 8110 4G Banana phone, HMD will definitely look forward to compete with other phones in the same price segment like the Redmi 6A, Infinix Smart 2 and others. But, not to forget Nokia 8810 is a 4G feature phone, while the Redmi 6 is a smartphone. In India, the Nokia 8810 4G Banana phone will be available in two colours including Banana Yellow and Traditional Black.
