Under the hood, the Nokia 6.1 Plus packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset which clocks a frequency of 1.8GHz. The Nokia 6.1 Plus has been made out of an aluminium frame body with Corning Gorilla Glass on both front and back. There will only be a single variant of the phone with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There is also the option of inserting a microSD card using a hybrid SIM card slot. The processor on this phone is a Snapdragon 636 with 4GB of RAM.

For the camera, the smartphone sports a dual rear setup of 16MP + 5MP, where the 16MP shooter is an RGB sensor with f/2.0 aperture and the secondary 5MP monochrome sensor comes with f/2.2 aperture. There is a 16MP snapper on the front which comes with 1.0um pixel size and a f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. On the rear, you will find a fingerprint sensor, and there is also the face unlock capability on this phone. The connectivity options on the Nokia 6.1 Plus include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Dual 4G VoLTE, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port. The dimensions measure up to 147.2 x 70.98 x 8.59mm, and the handset weighs 151 grams.

Though pricing is reasonable, I (and most others too) will still not buy Nokia 6.1 Plus because it has worst in class 1.0um pixel camera sensors – both back & front (resulting in worst low light pics) instead of minimum 1.25-1.40 um pixel sony sensors given by competition/best sellers! Nokia 6.1 Plus would have easily been a best seller only if it had a great camera!
