Motorola Moto G5 Plus Now Available for Purchase on Amazon India

Back in March, Motorola launched the Moto G5 Plus smartphone in India as a Flipkart exclusive. While it’s younger brother, the Moto G5 was exclusively available on Amazon India. But now, the Moto G5 Plus can be purchased via Amazon as well. However, only the 4GB RAM, 32GB storage variant is available on Amazon, which costs Rs. 16,999. Also, the availability of 3GB RAM option in still unknown.




Furthermore, Motorola recently made the Moto G5 and G5 Plus available in the offline stores as well. The Moto G5 Plus is reportedly selling in the offline market at the same prices, i.e., Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 16,999, while the Moto G5 costs Rs. 10,999 and is available only in a single variant. The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus are the company’s take on the budget segment, whose successors - the Moto G5s and G5s+ are said to be launched shortly.

Coming to the Moto G5 Plus on Amazon, the e-commerce site is throwing cash back offer for users who purchase the device via a credit card. There’s also an exchange offer. The G5 Plus comes with mid-range specifications and runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

The device has a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC and is paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. The Adreno 506 GPU handles the graphics. Also, the storage can be expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

The Moto G5 Plus comes with a 12MP dual pixel camera with a f/1.7 aperture and dual LED Flash. There’s a 5MP front-facing camera as well on the phone with a wide-angle lens, f/2.2 aperture, and display flash. The G5 Plus offers connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC. It also has the standard micro-USB port, and a 3000mAh battery backs the smartphone.
