Motorola has just launched the Moto g05 in India. It is an entry-level affordable 4G phone that starts at only Rs 6999. The highlight of this phone is that it runs on Android 15. At this price point, there's no other phone which has Android 15 out of the box. Along with that, there's a 50MP quad-pixel camera integrated in the device for users to capture their special moments. Moto g05 will be available in a single memory variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device is priced at Rs 6,999 and will be available in two colours - Forest Green and Plum Red (vegan leather design). Moto g05 will go on sale starting January 13, 2025, 12 PM via Flipkart. The company has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer customers benefits worth Rs 5,000.

Users will be offered Rs 50 cashback on 40 recharges, which comes to a total benefit of Rs 2,000. The rechage benefit will be offered on the Rs 449 plan only. Then partner coupons from Swiggy, Ajio and Netmeds will be offered to customers, reaching in value of up to Rs 3,000.

Moto g05 Specifications in India

Moto g05 comes with a 6.67-inch HD+ display that supports 90Hz refresh rate, 1000nits peak brightness and 800nits typical brightness. It features an IP52 water-repellent design with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and Water Touch technology. Moto g05 5G is powered by MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme processor clocked at 2 GHz, and features Android 15 out of the box. It will get 2 years of security updates. There's up to 4GB of RAM (LPDDR4x), expandable up to 12GB with RAM Boost and 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB with help of a microSD card.

The Moto g05 features a 5200mAh battery with 18W charging support. It has a 50MP quad-pixel camera at the rear with f/1.8 and an 8MP sensor at the front for selfies and video calling. There's a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired earphone lovers. The 10W charger along with a Type-C cable is given inside the box to users.
