Huawei is back with yet another affordable smartphone in Holly lineup. After Huawei unveiled the Holly 3 last October, the company is now back with another budget phone in the Honor series, the Honor Holly 3+. At a glance, the new smartphone seems very similar to its predecessor in the looks and design department and pretty much all other specs. The latest Honor Holly 3+ only gets a bump in the memory and storage part. The smartphone is now available all across India through offline retailers and is priced at Rs. 12,999.

Identical to the Holly 3, the Holly 3+ sports the same plastic back panel and is patterned as well. The Honor Holly 3 is available on Amazon as well as offline retailers.

When it comes to the specifications, Honor Holly 3+ comes with a5.5-inch IPS display screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is internally powered by an octa-core Kirin 620 processor clocked at 1.2GHz which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The memory can, however, be expanded up to an extra 128GB via a microSD card. When it comes to the software, the Holly 3+ runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with EMUI 4.1 on top.

In the photography department, the Honor Holly 3+ comes with a 13MP rear camera while an 8MP secondary camera sits on the front for selfies and video calling. The Honor Holly 3+ is a dual-SIM smartphone that supports 4G connectivity. As for the phone’s other connectivities, the Holly 3+ includes options like Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, accelerometer, proximity sensor and micro USB port for external connectivity.

The Honor Holly 3+ again resembles its predecessor when it comes to the battery. The device comes with the same 3,100mAh battery that came with the previous Holly 3. The Holly 3+ measures 154x77.1x8.45mm and weighs in at 168 grams. The device is pitted against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Motorola Moto G5 available in the same price range.
