Gionee X1S With 16MP Front-Facing Camera and MediaTek MT6737T SoC Launched at Rs. 12,999

Chinese brand, Gionee has launched yet another smartphone in the Indian market. However, this time, the company has brought a smartphone under different series, named as Gionee X1S. Gionee recently unveiled its X range of smartphones in China, and the same has been launched in India today.

As seen with other Gionee smartphones releases this year, the Gionee X1S also features a decent selfie camera of 16MP. Besides the selfie camera, the phone also features a massive 4000mAh battery.

Diving into other specifications of the smartphone, the device has a 5.2-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 2.5D curved glass on top. Internally, the device is powered by the 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T 64-bit chipset, which works in tandem with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

Gionee has added just 16GB of internal storage in the smartphone, which is expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card. This dual SIM smartphone comes laden with Android 7.0 Nougat based Amigo UI on top, and also comes with connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and micro USB port.

The X1S comes with a decent 13MP rear camera which has support for PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. The device has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes with a generous 4000mAh battery.

Lastly, the Gionee X1S is priced at Rs. 12,999 and comes in two colour options- black and gold. It will be available in all the offline and online retail stores starting September 21.

Also, Gionee has partnered with Bharti Airtel and offering 10GB additional data for six months.
