National Broadband Ireland Passes 75,000 Connections Milestone Nationwide

National Broadband Ireland (NBI) has announced that it has now connected over 75,000 homes, farms, and businesses under the National Broadband Plan (NBP) to its high-speed fiber broadband network. NBI, along with the Minister of State with responsibility for Public Procurement, eGovernment, and Circular Economy, will mark the milestone at Herbst Software in Wicklow, which recently joined the network. NBN Australia Trials 100 Gbps FTTH Technology on Live Network

Australian government-owned wholesale network NBN Co has achieved wholesale download speeds of 83 Gbps on the live NBN full-fibre (FTTH) access network using Nokia's prototype 100 Gbps technology. Orange Poland to Build Fibre Network for 155,000 Households Using EU Funds

Orange Poland (Polska) has concluded contracts for investments in 28 areas for the deployment of fiber-optic networks in 125 municipalities under funding calls announced by the state Project Centre Digital Poland (CPPC). Glo Fiber to Expand Fiber Optic Broadband Services in Ohio

Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) brand Glo Fiber has announced plans to deploy its broadband services to 40,000 more premises in Ohio, United States. Shentel says engineering work has already commenced in Zanesville, Hillsboro, Jackson, Johnstown, and Greenfield.
