BSNL revises EVDO data packs, offers 400% more data

BSNL has revised its EVDO plans by offering up to 400% more data. Both postpaid and prepaid EVDO plans has been revised across all circles in India.

Now basic pack Rs 170 offer 1.5GB data instead of 500MB earlier. Similarly Rs 285 1GB pack now comes with 2.5GB data and Rs 565 pack has 6GB data compared to 2.5GB offered earlier. Unlimited packs and data rate cutter pack remains unchanged.  It is worth to point out that BSNL made this revision without any hike in cost of the pack or reduction in validity.

With this latest revision, BSNL EVDO packs are now cheaper than its 3G offering. BSNL EVDO competes with EVDO offerings from private players such as Reliance Netconnect, TATA Photon and MTS Mblaze Ultra.
