Samsung Galaxy SII Launched In India For Rs.32890

Leading Mobile phone maker Samsung today announced the launch of GALAXY S II, the company’s much-awaited flagship Android smartphone phone in India.

The SAMSUNG GALAXY S II will retail at Rs 32,890 on June 3 through Vodafone. Prospective customers can pre-book their Samsung Galaxy S II on-line on Samsung Website just for Rs. 1000, starting May 26.




Vodaofne Customers will also get 6 GB (2G / 3G ) Data free (1 GB per month for the first six months) The device will be available in Samsung stores and all other retail outlets across India from June 9, 2011.

The new GALAXY S II smartphone will succeed Galaxy S, which was launched in India last year and helped Samsung take a lead role in Android smartphone segment.

A lightning-fast, dual-core Samsung GALAXY S II powered by a 1.2Ghz processor,supports a 4.3-Inch Super AMOLED+ screen and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) customized with Samsung’s Touchwiz 4 user interface. Galaxy S II will have an 8 Mega pixel Camera and 1GB RAM. The model being launched in Indian market is the 16GB model and comes with integrated Near Field Communication (NFC).
