journalist-cardBharti Aritel Ltd India's leading mobile service on Sunday launched a Journalist Card an exclusive product for the media fraternity of Meghalaya addressing the media Bharti Airtel Ltd Chief Operating Officer Sudipto Chowdhury said The Journalist Card is a prepaid complimentary Start Up Kit. On recharge by any denomination Recharge Voucher the benefit of Closed User Group (CUG) calls within the group is at 30 paise per minute can be available.

Chowdhury said for enrolling in this plan, a media customer would not have to pay any security deposit and activation charge. The waivers could avail the facility by providing a few necessary documents as required by law. Chowdhury said, "We have been serving various segments of society, students and Defence Forces with specific plans formulated after a lot of research and obtaining insight".




The mobile company  he said was also involved in the uplift of the society in health, culture, sport and tourism sectors. The company was involved in blood donation activities by creating blood donation centres, Chowdhury said. Aritel was also involved in the promotion of football and criket.
