HMD Global has hit the headlines today as it has scheduled a launch event on October 6, 2021. This upcoming launch event is believed to be an online-only event as the COVID-19 restrictions and crisis are still not over. At this launch event, the company is expected to take the wraps off the Nokia G50 5G smartphone that has been hitting the rumour mills off late and the Nokia T20 Android tablet, which was surfacing in rumours. The company has taken to its official Twitter handle to share the teaser of the upcoming event.
From the teaser image as seen above, we can see some previously launched smartphones and feature phones arranged in a queue. At the farther end, we can see a large box, which makes us believe that the company is in plans to unveil its long-rumoured Nokia T20 tablet.

From the existing reports, the Nokia G50 5G smartphone is believed to be launched with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor that is said to be coupled with 4GB and 8GB of RAM. Also, it is tipped to arrive with up to 512GB of storage space as well. A 4800mAh battery is likely to power the smartphone from within to ensure that the lights are turned on.
