As we reported yesterday, Samsung's high-end phones like the Galaxy S10, S10+, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ will get the update in January itself. Other Samsung phones like the Galaxy S9, S9+, Note 9 and the newly launched A series phone are also on the list to get the update in the first month of 2020. Samsung released a plethora of smartphones in 2019 and most of them will pick up the update next year.

More Than 30 Samsung Mobile Phones Slated to Get Update in 2020

Samsung will be releasing the Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 update to a total of 42 smartphones and tablets. The list consists of several devices from different series like Galaxy Note, Galaxy S, Galaxy A, Galaxy M, Galaxy J, Galaxy On and Galaxy Tab. As expected, flagship phones from Samsung like the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ will get the update first in January 2020. It's good to see Samsung also adding the 2018 flagship phones- Galaxy S9, S9+ and the Galaxy Note 9 to the list of phones which will receive the update in January month itself. The Samsung Galaxy S10e, which is the company's affordable flagship phone this year will also get the update in January itself. Notably, Samsung will not release Android 10 update to any tablet in the month of January.

Samsung's recently launched flagship phone- the Galaxy Fold is confirmed to get the update in April 2020.

Also, the update rollout will begin in January 2020 and there will not be a single Samsung device running stable OneUI 2.0 based on Android 10 in 2019. Almost all the smartphone brands will at least have one device running Android 10 by the end of 2019, but that's not the case with Samsung though.
