Asus 6Z Price Cut of Rs 4,000 Brings Down the Starting Price to Rs 27,999

The Taiwanese manufacturer had recently launched the ROG Phone 2 in India which comes with some power-packed specification curated specifically for the gaming experience. However, there are other smartphones by Asus which have perhaps not seen as much traction lately with a lukewarm response. The devices from Asus that we are talking about here are the Asus 6Z and the Asus 5Z. Now, previously Asus has slashed the price of the Asus 5Z to compete better with the Redmi K20, but in a new update, Asus has announced that it is slashing the price of both, the Asus 6Z and the Asus 5Z. To recall, last year when all the hype was about the Snapdragon 845, then Asus had launched the 5Z to compete with the other flagships in the market. Similarly, the Asus 6Z packs the flagship processor of this year, which is the Snapdragon 855. It is also interesting to note that the new price cuts which Asus has introduced on these devices are massive, meaning that a lot of buyers might lean towards buying these phones as opposed to other offerings.

Asus 6Z Price Cut: New Price Details

Firstly, talking about the newer, Asus 6Z. The phone packs the Snapdragon 855 built on 7nm process and features an octa?core CPU configuration capable of clock-speeds of up to 2.84GHz. The highlight of the Asus 6Z is that it comes with a flip camera setup. The company boasts of having 600 nits brightness on this screen and a 92% screen-to-body ratio. The device also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The device also comes with a 48MP sensor on the rear side.

Now coming to the latest pricing of the Asus 6Z, firstly it is important to note that the device comes in three variant. So, the first variant of the device which 6GB RAM and 64GB storage had debuted for Rs 31,999 has received a Rs 4,000 price cut, and now it is available for Rs 27,999. The second variant of the Asus 6Z with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage had debuted for Rs 34,999, and now it has received a Rs 4,000 price cut too, meaning that the current price tag of Rs 30,999. Lastly, the highest variant of the Asus 6Z which had debuted with a price tag of Rs 39,999 and it comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. This variant has received a Rs 5,000 price cut, and it is now available for the buyers at Rs 34,999.

Asus 5Z Price Cut: New Price Details

Coming to the older phone, the Asus 5Z, the device comes with a Snapdragon 845 SoC and this one also comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device also boasts of having Full HD+ IPS LCD display on the front with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and it packs a 3,300mAh battery. There is also a wide-angle camera on the device on the rear side.

When it comes to the new pricing of the Asus 5Z, the first variant of the device which comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage had the older selling price of Rs 21,999 and it has received a Rs 5,000 price cut, and now it is available for Rs 16,999. The second variant of the Asus 5Z which was retailing for Rs 24,999 has received a Rs 6,000 price cut, and now it is available for Rs 18,999. Lastly, the highest variant of the Asus 5Z which was available for Rs 28,999 has not got a price slash of Rs 7,000, so it is available for Rs 21,999.
