OnePlus has finally started teasing a new McLaren Edition of its upcoming OnePlus 7T Pro and it's coming on October 10. Chinese smartphone brand, OnePlus, has confirmed that it's all set to begin the second phase of partnership with McLaren. To recall, OnePlus collaborated with McLaren for the OnePlus 6T to launch the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. And exactly a year later, the company will be launching the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition, at least that's what rumours are suggesting for now. Right now, we don't have any official information regarding the upcoming McLaren phone from OnePlus, however, going by the rumours, it will be the first OnePlus smartphone to pack 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone will officially launch on October 10 and it will also reach the Indian market right after the global launch in London.

OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition: What We Know So Far

The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition received wide-range of applause from all over the world. In a press statement, OnePlus said that the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition sold out across the world in a matter of weeks. In India, the McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 6T was launched for Rs 50,999, and despite the hefty price tag, consumers purchased the smartphone because of the flashy design and unique features which it brought to the table.

Notably, OnePlus is keeping the McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 7T Pro under the wraps for now. However, renders of the smartphone were posted online a few weeks ago and the design elements are pretty much identical to the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition.

For the unaware, the OnePlus 7T Pro will look exactly the same as the OnePlus 7 Pro and the McLaren Edition of the smartphone will have an Orange coloured coating on the rear bottom. Similar to the older model, the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition may also feature a special retail box (OnePlus already teased it on Twitter), along with an Orange coloured charging brick and cable.

Earlier this year, OnePlus 7 Pro arrived in a 12GB+256GB variant priced at Rs 58,999, however, this time around, those high-end specs are said to be limited to McLaren Edition of the 7T Pro. Rumours indicate that the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition will arrive in a 12GB+512GB variant and the price could go over Rs 60,000.

OnePlus 7T Pro: Rumoured Specs and Launch Date

OnePlus will be launching the 7T Pro at its global event in London tomorrow. At the same event, the Chinese company will announce the McLaren Edition of the smartphone as well. As for the specifications, the 7T Pro will retain the same 6.67-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display from the OnePlus 7 Pro along with 90Hz refresh rate. Underneath, it will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, clubbed with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The special McLaren Edition is rumoured to ship with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage to make it an appealing option.

The OnePlus 7T Pro will likely have the same camera setup as the OnePlus 7T- 48MP+16MP+12MP, along with a Time of Flight sensor. The phone will offer a slightly bigger 4080mAh battery and will come with support for Warp Charge 30T. The McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 7T Pro is said to ship with 50W Warp Charge technology.

India launch of the OnePlus 7T Pro will likely happen tomorrow itself and the prices may be posted on Amazon India. The first sale of the phone will likely take place on October 15, exclusively via Amazon and OnePlus.in.
