Xiaomi Redmi K20 series to get a new White colour variant hints an official teaser from the company. A few days ago, in China, Xiaomi launched Summer Honey variant of the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro smartphones. And today, it teased the launch of a new White colour variant of the Redmi K20 series in India, probably the same Summer Honey colour variant. However, it's unknown whether the company is planning to launch the upcoming White colour Redmi K20 variant with the same Summer Honey name in India. Right now, the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro smartphones are available in three colour options- Glacier Blue, Flame Red and Carbon Black. The upcoming colour variant will allow customers to choose the flagship phones from four colour options. Talking about the Summer Honey colour variant of the forthcoming Redmi K20 series, it looks pretty much similar to the Mi A3 in More Than White colour.

Xiaomi Redmi K20 Series to Get New Colour Option in India Tomorrow

At the end of July, Xiaomi launched the Summer Honey colour variant of the Redmi K20 series in China. Right after the launch in China, everyone expected the Chinese company to bring the same colour model to India as well. But it took the company more than a month for launching the same in the sub-continent. Going by the official teaser posted by Redmi India Twitter handle, the White coloured Redmi K20 will reach the Indian market tomorrow. Most likely, Xiaomi will launch the new colour model in all the variants of two phones and the price could remain the same as well.

Right now, the Redmi K20 Pro is available in two variants- 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, whereas the Redmi K20 can be purchased in 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB storage models. The Redmi K20's price in India starts at Rs 21,999, while the K20 Pro can be picked up from Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores and other Mi Preferred Partner stores from Rs 27,999. Notably, the Redmi K20 Pro is the cheapest phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset in India right now.

Redmi K20 Selling Better Than Expected, Says Xiaomi

A couple of weeks ago, Xiaomi launched its Android One smartphone Mi A3 in India starting at Rs 12,999. Before the Mi A3, we saw the Redmi K20 series launching in the country. The Redmi K20 Pro was well-received by the audience, however, the Redmi K20's pricing was heavily criticised. During a media interaction at the Mi A3 launch event, we asked Xiaomi India officials on how the Redmi K20 is doing in terms of sales. The Redmi K20 is selling better than the company expected, said the officials of Xiaomi India.

The Redmi K20's pricing in India starts at Rs 21,999 which did not go well with the consumers as they expected Xiaomi to be even more aggressive. Not to forget, the Redmi K20 is the first phone in the country to offer Snapdragon 730 SoC and it's still the cheapest phone with the said chipset.
