Vivo is all set to launch a new smartphone in India on February 20. The company is yet to confirm the name of the phone, but several media reports suggest that it is going to be the Vivo V11 Pro successor, aka the V15 Pro. Reports have revealed that the Vivo V15 Pro will come with 32MP popup selfie camera. The back cover of the alleged V15 Pro has been leaked in pictures last week. The pictures suggest that the V15 Pro will come with three cameras on the rear panel which will be placed one after the other. To recollect, one of the key highlights of the V11 Pro is the in-display fingerprint sensor. In fact, V11 Pro was the first mid-range smartphone of the industry to come with a fingerprint sensor embedded beneath the screen. The highlight of the V15 Pro is going to be the pop-up camera.

Vivo V15 Pro Coming Soon: What We Know So Far?

Vivo has sent out a media invite for the V15 Pro launch event in India on February 20. Along with revealing the date of the phone, Vivo has also revealed that a picture of it showing the popup selfie camera. To recall, the Vivo NEX was the first smartphone from the company to come with a pop-up camera. But the popup selfie camera on the Vivo NEX was placed of the left. Interestingly, the popup camera of the Vivo V15 Pro is positioned on the right. This means whenever the user will want to click a selfie the popup camera will slide up and after the photo has been captured the camera will slide down.

The presence of popup camera means the bezels are slimmer than ever before. The V11 Pro comes with Halo full view display or water drop notch which also cut down on the bezels, but the V15 Pro is expected to sport almost negligible bezels on all sides. The V15 Pro is also said to come with an in display sensor, but it should be a much-improved version of the predecessor.

Overall, the V15 Pro is expected to be a better improved version of the V11 Pro. As of now, there are no details of the other specs that the upcoming Vivo phone is expected to sport. But going but the rumours the V15 Pro will come with a better chipset, more RAM and storage, bigger battery and more. There are chances that Vivo could go with the Snapdragon 710 SoC for the V15 Pro.

Some reports suggest that ahead of the launch of the launch of the V15 Pro, the Vivo NEX has been discontinued in India. The NEX was the first popup camera phone by Vivo, and now, that the second popup selfie camera phone launch is nearing, we believe this is the reason why the Nex has been discontinued.
