Xiaomi just launched the Redmi Note 7 in China and now the company is all set to bring the 48MP camera phone to India soon. The Redmi Note 7 is expected to come to India in the first half of next month, Xiaomi, however, is yet to confirm the launch timeline of the phone. In February Xiaomi is also expected to launch two other Redmi phones including Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmo Go, the company’s first Android Go phone. Now a new leak reveals that there’s another Redmi phone coming in February. A new poster showing the name “Redmi X” has now been leaked online. To recall, some of the past rumours and leaks revealed that Xiaomi could be working on a phone called Redmi X. It looks like the rumours were accurate. The newly leaked teaser reveals that the Redmi X will be launching on February 15. It is important to note that Xiaomi is yet to officially announce the launch of the Redmi X.
Redmi X Coming in February
The teaser reveals that the Redmi X will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Having said that, the Redmi X is said to be the first smartphone from Redmi, which is now an independent brand, to come with an in-display sensor which will help in unlocking the phone with just a finger touch. The Redmi X is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 and not Snapdragon 660 which powers the Redmi Note 7. Overall, compared to the Redmi Note 7, the Redmi X is expected to be much more powerful as far as the overall performance is concerned.
Meanwhile, some rumours suggest that the Redmi X can actually be the Redmi Note 7 Pro, which is also expected to launch in February and is said to be much more powerful than the Redmi Note 7. Rumours and leaks suggest that the Redmi Note 7 Pro version will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset paired with a 48MP camera using a Sony sensor instead of the Samsung sensor found inside the Redmi Note 7.
February is Going to Be a Busy Month for Xiaomi
Overall, February is said to be a busy month for Xiaomi. Besides the Redmi X, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is expected to launch the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Go Android Go phone, Xiaomi Mi 9, among others. Rumours suggest that the company’s flagship and the first phone running Snapdragon 855, Mi 9 could be launching in China on February 19, a day ahead when Samsung will be launching its flagships of the year aka Galaxy S10, S10+. In addition, Xiaomi is also said to showcase its foldable phone in February.
