Airtel TV App Gets a Special Kumbh Mela 2019 Channel to Stream the Kumbh Proceedings

After Reliance Jio, Sunil Mittal-led Bharti Airtel has now introduced a dedicated channel to stream the Kumbh proceedings. Airtel TV app now has a special channel dedicated to Kumbh Mela 2019 to bring all the updates from the event to the smartphone screen. In the press statement issued today, Airtel said it has tied up with VR Devotee, which is India’s leading devotional content provider, to bring this exclusive content to Airtel TV app. According to Airtel, this tie-up allows millions of Airtel customers to stay digitally connected with the Kumbh, wherever they may be. This special channel on Airtel TV app, powered by VR Devotee, is already Live and will run through till March 4, 2019. To access this digital service, customers need to download the Airtel TV app (available for Android and iOS) on their smartphones.

Airtel to Have Special Kiosks at the Kumbh Mela to Offer VR Experience

In addition, Airtel in partnership with VR Devotee is putting up special kiosks at the venue (in Prayagraj) to offer Virtual Reality based immersive experience to visitors, who will be able to enjoy real life like display of proceedings right from the kiosks. VR DEVOTEE has earlier partnered with 200+ major temples and spiritual leaders in the country and has live streamed large events like Mysuru Dusshera, Mahamasthakbhisheka, Ganesh Visarjan and many more.

Airtel TV App Now Offering 372 Live TV Channels

Bharti Airtel, which is providing Live TV streaming service to its subscribers through Airtel TV mobile application is currently offering 372 channels to the subscribers. Airtel TV app is currently offering Live TV channels across nine categories- News, Entertainment, Infotainment, Music, Movies, Devotional, Sports, Kids and Lifestyle.

Furthermore, Airtel TV app offers content in 15 languages- Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Oriya, Assamese, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Gujarati, Urdu and French. On the other hand, JioTV app has 626 Live TV channels spread across 11 categories as we reported recently.
