Lenovo Z5s With Triple Rear Camera Setup and Snapdragon 710 Now Official

Earlier today we talked about the launch of Lenovo’s new phone, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT. However, it’s also worth noting that for some of the interested buyers out there who would like to own a phone in the mid-range, the new Z5 Pro GT does not make a lot of sense, but, worry not, since Lenovo has also launched another phone side by side this time which is the Lenovo Z5s. The phone comes with a mid-range price tag and offers some interesting quirks on board like the rear triple camera setup and beautiful design. So, without further ado, let’s read ahead to know more about what the new Lenovo Z5s has in store to offer.

Lenovo Z5s: Specifications and Features

The new Lenovo Z5s features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ LCD rendering a resolution of 1080 × 2340 pixels on a screen of 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the phone sports the best mid-range processor from Qualcomm out there, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 10nm octa-core Mobile Platform. This chipset rocks the Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 cores paired with Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs and Adreno 616 GPU for graphics. Speaking of the RAM, the phone debuts in either 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4X RAM options paired with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage being expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. On the software front, the phone boots the latest Android 9.0 Pie with Lenovo’s ZUI 10 on top. Also, the dimensions of the device measure 156.7×74.5×7.85mm and it weighs 172 grams.

Coming onto the camera and imaging of the device. For this one, the phone features triple rear camera setup which consists of a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture lens, PDAF, Dual-tone LED, an 8MP telephoto lens and lastly a 5MP depth-sensing camera which comes with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on this device is a 16MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture. The connectivity options on the device include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 and USB Type-C. On the rear side, we also get to see a fingerprint sensor and inside, the phone packs a 3,300mAh battery which also lends fast charging support.

Lenovo Z5s: Pricing and Availability

The new Lenovo Z5s debuts in three colour options which include the Honey Orange, Gray, and Titanium Crystal Blue. The phone bears a price tag of 1398 yuan ($200 or about Rs 14,500) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, whereas it costs 1598 yuan ($230 or Rs 16,500) for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage option. The top end model of the Lenovo Z5s with 6GB RAM and 128GB costs 1898 yuan ($275 or Rs 19,500). The phone has been scheduled to go for sale in China on December 24.
