Asus' newly launched Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Lite L1 are all set to go on sale for the first time in India today. Launched earlier this month, both the Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Lite L1 will be available for purchase starting 12 PM today exclusively on Flipkart during the e-commerce portal's Festive Dhamaka Days sale. The Asus Zenfone Max M1 will retail at an introductory price of Rs 7,499, while the Zenfone Lite L1 can be purchased for Rs 5,999. Both the phones can also be purchased with additional bank offers on Flipkart.
Asus Zenfone Max M1 and Lite L1: Pricing and Offers
The Zenfone Max M1 was launched in India for a price tag of Rs 8,999, but during the Flipkart Festive Dhamaka Days sale, the smartphone will be available at an introductory price of Rs 7,499. The Zenfone Lite L1, on the other hand, was launched at a lower price tag of Rs 6,999, but during the Festive sale, Flipkart will be selling the phone for Rs 5,999. As noted, the introductory prices of the two phones will be limited until the Flipkart Festive sale lasts, i.e until October 27. After the sale, the Zenfone Max M1 will be available for Rs 8,999, while the Zenfone Lite L1 will sell for Rs 6,999.
Both the Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Lite L1 phones will be available in Black and Gold colour variants. As a part of the launch offer, customers buying either of the phones will get Rs 2200 cashback and 50GB additional data from Reliance Jio. Both the Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Lite L1 also come with other offers like complete mobile protection at Rs 99 and no cost EMI option.
Asus Zenfone Max M1 and Lite L1: Specifications and Features
Both the Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Lite L1 are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 chipset. The expensive model- Max M1 will be available in 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage version, while the cheaper model- Zenfone Lite L1 will come in 2GB RAM and 16GB on internal storage option.
As for specifications, the Zenfone Max M1 and the Zenfone Lite L1 have a lot in common. Both the smartphones sport a 5.45-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) display and run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. Even in the camera department, the two phones have a lot in common, with some differences here and there. On the rear panel, both the Zenfones comes with a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, paired with LED flash. The front camera setup of the phones differs. The Zenfone Max M1 packs an 8-megapixel sensor with a f/2.2 aperture on the front, while the Zenfone Lite L1 packs a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. Both the phones include a Led flash on the front which sits right next to the selfie camera setup.
Both the smartphones come with dual-SIM support and connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, among others. The Zenfone Max M1 is backed by a massive 4000mAh battery, while the cheaper model aka Lite L1 packs a smaller 3000mAh battery.
