Honor Play is the upcoming smartphone from the house of Huawei’ sub-brand Honor. The Honor Play is a flagship smartphone that was launched in China a while back with the company’s latest GPU Turbo technology. Amazon India has started teasing the handset’s launch in India and also confirmed that the device would be exclusive to the e-commerce portal. Notably, it’s the third smartphone from Honor to be launched with the Kirin 970 chipset, after the Honor View 10 and the Honor 10. The handset is expected to be priced around Rs 30,000, in-line with the Honor View 10. But the major change would be the GPU Turbo technology it will feature.

Honor Play Specifications and Features
Honor, along with its parent company, Huawei, has been aggressively launching smartphones across every price range in the country. The Honor Play flaunts a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. As seen with many Honor & Huawei smartphones releasing these days, the Honor Play also comes with a notch on top of the display. The Honor Play comes with a Kirin 970 chipset, clubbed with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, Honor is expected to launch the Honor Play with only 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage in India.
To improve the gaming experience on its smartphone, Huawei has recently introduced a new technology, dubbed as GPU Turbo, which is said to boost the performance of the device by 40% and also keeps the battery consumption decidedly lower.
