Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and the Xiaomi Redmi 5A will be available for purchase via Flipkart at 12 PM today. Both the smartphones will be available in two variants and different colour options. Additionally, the Redmi 5A will be available for purchase on Mi.com as well. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be available in 3GB RAM/32GB storage & 4GB RAM/64GB storage options, while the Redmi 5A will be up for sale in 2GB/16GB storage & 3GB/32GB of onboard storage variants. Interested customers can head over to the e-commerce portal at 12 PM to purchase the products. The Redmi 5A, as mentioned, can also be picked up from the company's own portal Mi.com.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Price & Specifications
Aforesaid, Asus will be selling two variants of the Zenfone Max Pro M1- the base variant is priced at Rs 10,999 and the premium variant costs Rs 12,999. Coming to the specifications of the handset, the Max Pro M1 sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Asus is branding this display as FullView display. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage.
The phone also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. Cameras in the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 include a 13MP+5MP on the rear side and an 8MP shooter is present on the front side. The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery and it boots stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
Xiaomi Redmi 5A Price & Specifications
Coming to the Redmi 5A, it's an entry-level smartphone and also the company's best-selling smartphone in Q1 2018. Within few months of launch, Xiaomi sold over five million units of the Redmi 5A which also made the device third best-selling one across the globe. The Redmi 5A carries a price tag of Rs 5,999 for the base 2GB RAM+16GB storage variant and Rs 6,999 for the 3GB RAM+32GB storage option. The phone also comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Additionally, Xiaomi is offering a free subscription of Hungama Music for three months if users purchase the handset via Mi.com. Reliance Jio, on the other hand, is giving up to 4.5TB of additional data.
The Redmi 5A sports decent specifications for the asking price. It has a 5-inch 16:9 display on the front with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. Internally, it's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC. Xiaomi has added a 13MP shooter on the rear side, while the front-facing camera is a 5MP unit. The Redmi 5A is currently running MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat, and it's fuelled by a 3000mAh battery.
