Samsung has launched the 2018 editions of Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J3 smartphones in the United States. Both the devices will be available in the country through select retail and carrier partners starting this month. Samsung says that it focussed on key features which users will love while designing the Galaxy J7 (2018) and Galaxy J3 (2018). The new models sport sharp displays, upgraded low-light cameras and bigger batteries. But sadly, they both ship with 16:9 displays on board, which has become a thing of past in recent times.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) Specifications and Features
Kicking off with the Galaxy J7 (2018), the smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 16:9 aspect ratio and 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Samsung did not reveal which processor it used to power the smartphone and the South Korean company even did not reveal what version of Android does the J7 (2018) runs. All Samsung highlighted is the cameras on the smartphone.

The Galaxy J7 (2018) comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash. Up front, the phone has a 13MP shooter which comes with f/1.9 aperture. Samsung states that both the front and rear cameras are engineered to deliver exception low-light performance and they might, thanks to the narrower aperture. For the unaware, this is the same camera hardware the Galaxy J7 (2017) ships with. Samsung even stated the phone will have a big battery, but it did not reveal the battery capacity though.

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018)
As the name itself suggests, the Galaxy J3 (2018) is a downgraded version of the Galaxy J7 (2018), and it sports a 5-inch HD display, but not a Super AMOLED panel. Same as the case with Galaxy J7 (2018), Samsung did not reveal the processor, amount of RAM and storage options of the device, but it did confirm that the phone has an 8MP shooter on the back and a 5MP shooter on the front.

Samsung confirmed the phones would come with Samsung Knox support and can easily access Samsung's Customer Care service. Both the models might debut in India in the near future.
