Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is Now Up for Pre-Orders in India

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 will open up for pre-order in India today, roughly ten days after the initial launch of the device. The recent entrant is being pitched as a direct competitor to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and even undercuts it in terms of affordable pricing while offering similar hardware and stock Android experience. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro will go live at exactly 12 PM exclusively through the domestic e-commerce platform, Flipkart. The pre-orders for will only be accepted for prepaid orders. This means users will have to pay in advance as there won’t be the option to go for Cash on Delivery mode for this phone.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Price and Offers
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India will go for a starting price of Rs 10,999 for 3GB RAM and 32GB storage version. The 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage version is priced at Rs 12,999. There’s also a third version with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and has better camera specifications which is priced Rs 14,999. However, this phone will not be releasing today.

As for the launch offers that come with the ZenFone Max Pro M1, the biggest offer comes from Flipkart. The e-retailer offers “Complete Mobile Protection” subscription worth Rs 999 at a discounted price of Rs 49. This covers all possible damages, including screen breakage and liquid damage.

Aside from that, Flipkart is offering an extra Rs 1,000 off over regular exchange values as well as no cost EMI starting from Rs 917 per month. Vodafone has also paired up with the brand to provide offers worth up to Rs 3,200.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Specifications
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, same as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The handset is also the first from Asus that ditches the Zenfone UI for a stock Android OS. It runs the Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Asus also rolled out Face Unlock feature to the smartphone.

The display is a 5.99-inch LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 screen aspect ratio. It comes with a screen to body ratio of 83% and 403 PPI pixel density. As for the cameras, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup of 13MP and 5MP sensors with LED flash and an 8MP selfie shooter.

Fueled by a 5000mAh battery the smartphone is said to deliver up to 34.1 days of battery life on 4G standby and up to 199 hours of music playback. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, microSD card, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS among others. The device has a dedicated microSD card slot, not a hybrid card slot.
