OnePlus 6 to Have a 19:9 Notch Display and Reportedly Scored 276510 in AnTuTu Benchmark

Rumours about the upcoming OnePlus 6 have now started coming thick and fast. Today, a new report has revealed the key specifications and AnTuTu benchmark score of the smartphone. The OnePlus 6, as everyone must have expected will come with a model number A6000, like the previous iteration OnePlus devices. And the device scored a whopping 276510 in the AnTuTu benchmark, beating the previous best score of 273741 achieved by the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, which is confirmed to launch on March 27. Alongside the benchmark score, the report also revealed some of the key specifications of the smartphone and the first and foremost surprising one is the presence of 19:9 display.

This essentially means that the OnePlus 6 will have a notch at the top, in-line with the recent live images leak. Without the notch, the display will have an 18:9 aspect ratio, same as the OnePlus 5T. With that said, we have seen numerous leaks of Oppo R15 smartphone until now, and it’s fair enough to assume that the OnePlus 6 will resemble the R15 like how the OnePlus 5 resembled Oppo R11 last year. But OnePlus will make some cosmetic changes to its phone though. However, this is not we want, and let’s hope that OnePlus comes out with a unique design, rather than following its parent company.

And of course, the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform, which is the reason why it achieved that score. Folks at Android Central managed to achieve these benchmark images from a source close to OnePlus.
