HMD global, the parent company of Nokia is pegged to lift the curtains of the much anticipated Nokia 7 Plus along with some other Nokia devices at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 event later this month. Lately, the internet is flooded with leaked renders of Nokia 7 Plus which happens with almost every high-end phone. The leaked renders reveal the design of the smartphone with great details which kind of makes the arrival of this phone imminent.
Speaking of Nokia 7, the smartphone made its debut in October 2017 and is exclusively available in China as we speak. The Nokia 7 flaunts a very attractive an all-glass chassis design which looks stunning. And the Nokia 7 Plus is expected to retain all-glass chassis with a very attractive design to boast off.
The leaked renders of Nokia 7 Plus has shed light on the specifications the phone will come packing. If the renders are correct, then the Nokia 7 Plus will be the first smartphone from the company to flaunt a full-screen design. As it is evident from the renders, the Nokia 7 Plus will be making an entry with aluminium framed packed in between front and back glass panels.
The Nokia 7 Plus is expected to feature a 6-inch FHD display sporting a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It is expected to arrive with an aspect ratio of 18:9 which has become the norm these days.
Talking about other specifications of this device, the Nokia 7 Plus recently surfaced on benchmarking website Geekbench which revealed what we could expect from this device. According to Geekbench listing, this smartphone will be packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. It will come with a 64GB of storage space onboard with an option for expanding storage space via microSD card slot. It will be running Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box and like the original Nokia 7, there will be 6GB RAM variant that will make its debut later on.
Also, the Nokia 7 Plus is expected to feature the dual camera setup of 12MP+ 13MP with support for Optical Image Stabilization and 2X optical zoom. There will be a 16MP shooter up front for selfies and video calls.
In addition to that, the smartphone will come with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It will be packing a 3450mAh battery under the hood with support for fast charging. If reports are to be believed, then it will be priced close to 410 Euros ($508).
