Apple iMac Pro Price Starts at Rs 4,15,000 in India; Launching Very Soon

Apple recently started taking preorders for its latest Apple iMac Pro in the US market, and the initial reviews from international media are already out. Now, the Cupertino-based company has announced the price of the iMac Pro for the Indian market. Apple is probably bringing only the base version of the iMac Pro as it revealed only the price of it. The price of the iMac Pro in India starts at Rs 4,15,000. Of course, they're powerful to justify the price tag.

Let's hope that Apple will launch other high-end versions of the iMac Pro in the Indian market. For now, the company has brought the base variant with 8-core Intel processor, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB of SSD. In the US, the high-end variant of the iMac Pro ships with a whopping 128GB of DDR4 RAM, but it costs a lot in the US market too.

In the United States, the base variant with 8-core processor costs $4,999 (approx. Rs 3,21, 900), and the high-end 18-core and 128GB RAM model costs a whopping $13,199 (approx. Rs 8,49,870). The Apple iMac Pro's were originally unveiled back at the Apple WWDC 2017 event in June 2017.

The Apple iMac Pro for the Indian market is priced at Rs 4,15,000, and it will be available for purchase very soon. Talking about its features and specifications, it sports a 27-inch 5K display with a resolution of 5120x2880 pixels. Apple is calling the screen as a 'Retina Display.' It offers 500 nits of brightness and has a P3 wide-colour gamut.

Internally, the iMac Pro is powered by a 3.2GHz 8-core Intex Xeon W chipset, which can be overclocked at 4.2GHz with the help of TurboBoost. The chipset also has 19MB of cache and comes coupled with a Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics card. The Indian model comes with 8GB of HBM2 RAM and 32GB of DDR4 RAM.

Also, it sports 1TB of SSD, which also offers excellent read and write speeds. Speaking about ports in the iMac Pro, there is an ethernet port, four Thunderbolt 2 USB-C ports, four USB Type-A version 3.0 ports, a memory card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and four microphones. These ports are located at the back of the monitor.

There's a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, and it comes in a Space Gray colour. The entire machine weighs 9.7kgs, and it also has connectivity options such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.
