Nokia 2 Price in India is Rs 6,999, Will Be an Offline-Only Model

HMD Global has finally revealed the price of its entry-level smartphone, the Nokia 2 for the Indian market. The Nokia 2 will retail for Rs 6,999, and the sale will commence tomorrow. The device will be sold in the offline market, as HMD Global said while launching the smartphone. To recall, the Nokia 2 was launched at a global event held on October 31 in New Delhi.

The Nokia 2 comes with some launch offers. Reliance Jio is offering up to 45GB additional 4G data with the Nokia 2 smartphone. Recently, we reported Reliance Jio and HMD Global’s partnership, and the Nokia 2 falls into the second group of devices. The Nokia 2 users will get 5GB data every month with a recharge of Rs. 309 and above until August 31, 2018.

Also, Nokia 2 users can get a 12 months Accidental Damage Insurance by opening a Kotak 811 savings account by depositing an amount of Rs. 1,000 in the introductory period.

Coming back to the Nokia 2, the primary highlights of the smartphone include build quality, design, Android Nougat, and the massive battery. These are the standout features of the Nokia 2, which we already highlighted in our first impressions article.

Talking about the Nokia 2 specifications, the smartphone offers a 5-inch HD display with no mentioning of screen protection on top. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 SoC, paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.
