Additionally, the Apple iPhone X, the future of the smartphones (as per Apple), will be available to pre-order starting October 27 on http://www.imonline.co.in/. Both the Apple iPhone 8 and 8 Plus can be pre-ordered from the same website. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will launch on September 29 in India and will be available across 1500+ stores in India. The launch will be supported by high-decibel events and marketing activations through various media vehicles, reads a press statement. Indian e-commerce giant, Flipkart will also start taking pre-orders for the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus starting September 22.

Coming back to the Apple iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, they both are minor upgrades to last year's Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The all-new iPhone 8 lineup features glass body, instead of the unimetal body design. Apple made this move to incorporate the wireless charging feature. Also, the new iPhones are powered by the Apple's A11 Bionic chip for faster performance and augmented reality features. Apple also upgraded the cameras in both the phones.

However, the highlight of the Apple September 12 is the anniversary edition Apple iPhone X (pronounced as iPhone ten). Apple says that the iPhone X will be the future of smartphones. The iPhone X is priced at Rs. 89,000 for the 64GB variant in India. That said, the iPhone X is the best iPhone Apple ever made.

It features a gorgeous all-glass and stainless steel design with a beautiful 5.8-inch Super Retina display, which is an OLED panel, the first for an iPhone. Under the hood, it has the same Apple A11 Bionic chipset and has special Augmented Reality features.

The Apple iPhone X features a dual camera setup at the back, which is similar to the setup seen on the iPhone 8 Plus, but the highlighted part is both sensors are optically stabilised, same as Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Also, it doesn't feature a TouchID fingerprint sensor but has an all-new Face ID feature, enabled by the new TrueDepth camera technology.

The base model of the Apple iPhone 8 is priced at Rs. 64,000 in India, while the iPhone 8 Plus base variant costs Rs. 73,000.
