iVoomi has launched yet another entry-level smartphone, the iVoomi Me 2 in the Indian market, expanding its Me range of products in the country. The company has already launched the iVoomi Me 5 (Review), Me 4, Me 1+, etc in the Indian market, and now the Me 2 joins the product portfolio.

The iVoomi Me 2 will be exclusively available on Shopclues.com for Rs. 3,999. Customers can purchase the device starting August 24, 2017. The iVoomi Me 2 is a dual SIM 4G VoLTE smartphone, that runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The Me 2 rocks a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854*480 pixels.

It has 16GB of internal storage and comes with support for expandable storage up to 64GB via a microSD card. The device is powered by a quad-core chipset, along with 2GB of RAM, which is a good thing to see. iVoomi has been disrupting the entry-level market by offering more RAM on its smartphones.

The iVoomi Me 2 is available in two colour variants: Black and Champagne Gold. Camera wise, the Me 2 has an 8MP rear camera with an LED flash support, paired with a 5MP front-facing camera. This entire package is backed by a smaller 2000mAh battery.

Commenting on the launch, Mr Ashwin Bhandari, CEO, iVOOMi India said “India is an extremely important market for us and we are trying to propagate value phones in the mid-level segment by introducing a new variant in the Me series. Since our inception, we have been investing all our efforts in understanding the consumer behaviour across the country, and even glad to see the tremendous response towards the complete range of products launched by us over the last two-quarters. With the launch of this new smartphone, we ensure that consumers witness best of technology and user experience.”

iVoomi recently collaborated with Flipkart to sell its smartphones, and immediately, the brand achieved the July's goal in just one week after collaboration with Flipkart. However, for some unknown reasons, the Me 2 is exclusive to Shopclues.
