It is long rumoured that Samsung would launch the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 sometime in July. Some speculations even say that the phone will be officially launched on July 8, possibly a month ahead of the Galaxy Note 8 unveiling. The refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will be called as Samsung Galaxy Note FE, where FE refers to Fan Edition. And now, a poster of the Galaxy Note FE has displayed in the company's homeland South Korea.

The Note FE edition will be different from the original Galaxy Note 7, and yes, it will be priced lower than the original model as well. For the uninitiated, Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 was the company's flagship phone for 2016 in the Note series and was recalled due to the explosions issue. Later on, Samsung investigated the matter and issued a statement that the explosions occurred was due to a manufacturing defect in the battery.

According to a Korean environmental law, the metal components which are used to build the smartphones have to be recycled and must be used twice. That said, Samsung recalled an excess of four million units, and if Samsung destroys all the recalled units, the company will face a huge fine from the Korean government, which is the sole reason why Samsung is releasing the refurbished version of Galaxy Note, although in a smaller number.

As said earlier, the Galaxy Note FE will feature some changes compared to the original Galaxy Note 7. The Note FE will feature a smaller 3200mAh battery and will come baked with Android 7.0 Nougat and Samsung's Bixby Virtual Assistant.

Recently, the Note FE was also spotted on GFXBench, which revealed the key specifications of the phone. The Note 7 will have a 5.7-inch QHD panel, paired with Exynos 8890 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Also, the optics in the device would also be the same as the original Note 7 of a 12MP rear camera. Furthermore, the Note FE has an 'R' logo at the back of the phone, which indicates the device as refurbished.

The Galaxy Note FE is expected to be priced at Rs. 45,000 in India and will land in only some countries such as South Korea, China, Vietnam, India, etc.
