InFocus, the US-based firm launched a plethora of smartphones in 2015 and at the start of 2016. However, the brand vanished quickly due to the increased competition in the Indian market, especially in the sub Rs. 10,000 price bracket. Back then, InFocus used to offer decent entry-level smartphones with design as a standout factor in all of its devices.

Two days ago, InFocus teased a smartphone launch in the country, which would be a battery-centric phone. The company did not even disclose the smartphone's name they are going to launch on June 28. But, thanks to an Amazon India's listing, the device' specifications and name is now revealed.

The smartphone which InFocus is launching later this week is called InFocus Turbo 5. As the name itself suggests and as the company has been teasing the phone, the Turbo 5 will have a massive 5000mAh battery. The device also has support for Reverse Charging capability, which means that you can share your battery by charging other smartphones, like a power bank.

Apart from the massive battery, the rest of the specifications are mediocre at its best. The Turbo 5 has a compact 5.2-inch HD display, packed with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is fuelled with a 1.25Ghz MediaTek MT6737 SoC, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There might be a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage variant. The storage is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.

Technically, it's the same smartphone- InFocus M5s, which the company launched recently in China and in other countries. However, the M5s comes in just one variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The Turbo 5 has a 13MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash. Up front, a 5MP selfie camera is present.

InFocus has added connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and micro USB port. Also, it comes laden with latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The device weighs 165 grams and measures 9.0 mm in thickness.

The device will be officially announced on June 28 along with the pricing and availability details. Going by the listed specifications, the device should be priced at Rs. 7,499. Even a lower price would be much appreciated.
