All these days, we've been hearing about the Oppo R11 smartphone with dual camera setup at the back to be launched in China. However, a little believed that there would be a bigger sibling for the phone in the form of Oppo R11 Plus, which will be announced alongside the R11. Yes, Oppo made the Oppo R11 and Oppo R11 Plus official in China today, but the company did not reveal the pricing and availability of both the phones.

The R11 Plus, as the name itself suggests is a bigger variant of the Oppo R11 and brings some changes to justify the 'Plus' moniker. The R11 Plus comes with a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display, rather than the 5.5-inch AMOLED screen seen on the Oppo R11. It has a larger battery of 4000mAh with support for Oppo's VOOC Charging technology.

The Oppo R11 and R11 Plus are fuelled with the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chip. The R11 has just 4GB of RAM, but the R11 Plus is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Both the phones will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat based Color OS 3.0.

Besides these changes, both the smartphones are nearly identical: they feature same iPhone 7 Plus-esque design, same dual camera setup. And yes, speaking about the highlight of Oppo R11 and R11 Plus, they both have dual cameras at the back.

Not only the device's design is similar to the iPhone 7 Plus, but the rear camera implementation is also the same. There are two sensors of 16MP Sony IMX398 and 20MP Sony IMX350. The 16MP sensor captures standard RGB shots, while the 20MP sensor has a telephoto lens which can capture 2x zoomed images. The 16MP sensor has a large f/1.7 aperture, while the 20MP sensor has a f/2.6 aperture. A dual tone LED flash.accompanies the cameras. They both feature a 16MP front-facing camera.

For now, both the phones will be available in Oppo's homeland China itself. And they might not launch in India. However, the Oppo R11-esque OnePlus 5 will be launching in India on June 22.
