LYF F8 unveiled with 4.5-inch display, Android Marshmallow and 4G VoLTE for Rs. 4,199

Reliance Retail has come with yet another LYF smartphone - the LYF F8. The device comes equipped with 4G VoLTE and has a design that is identical to LYF's Flame 8 smartphone. The F8 is priced at Rs. 4,199 and will be up for sale through retail stores all across the country in Blue and Black color options.

The LYF F8 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset. It comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED Flash. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera onboard. The phone supports dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE (Band 3, Band 5, and Band 40), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, USB OTG, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack.

A 2,000mAh of removable battery backs the LYF F8, which is claimed to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time on 4G. The device measures 132.6x66.2x9.3mm and weighs 138 grams. It comes with "Swift Gesture Control" feature, which enables users to open the camera app, music player, and other apps directly from the lock screen by using the gesture controls.

We checked LYF's official website, which states that there is one year of warranty on the handset clubbed with another year of extended warranty.
