Netflix’s ISP Speed Index: Spectranet fastest internet service provider with 2.17 Mbps speed, pips Bharti Airtel

Spectranet has emerged as the faster internet service provider (ISP) with 2.17 Mbps speed in the Netflix’s ISP Speed Index, piping India’s leading telco Bharti Airtel, which had 2.10 Mbps broadband speed. The index ranking shows that Bharti Airtel has lost its first position to Spectanet due to decline in its broadband speeds. The telco had earlier topped the chart with 2.21 Mbps speeds, while Spectranet improved its speeds from 2.13 Mbps to 2.17 Mbps.

The index however is not a measure of overall performance for other services or data that may travel across the specific ISP network.
