Aircel launches 1GB 3G data and voice call packs at Rs 101

The telecom service provider Aircel has launched an array of 1GB 3G data packs in Kolkata, ranging from Rs. 47 to Rs. 248 under the concept “1GB for All”. A data pack of Rs. 101 will offer the users 1GB of 3G data for 30 days coupled with a call tariff of 1p/s for 90 days. For those who consume higher data, Aircel has launched a Rs. 47 per day pack, under which the users can get 1GB 3G data in the night between 12 am and 8am.

There is a similar pack that comes with three days validity that costs Rs. 99. For those who wish to use data both day and night, Aircel has PI248 pack, which will offer the users 1GB 3G data during daytime and extra 1GB 3G data for night surfing between 12am and 8am. The pack comes with a validity of 28 days.

Commenting on the 1GB for All Packs, Anil Gupta, Regional Manager – East, Aircel said, “Aircel has pioneered ‘1GB for All’ proposition in the market which is aimed at inducing 1GB usage pattern in the market. Today, 1GB is the least that all data users look at and we are excited to reintroduce a range of affordable ‘1GB for All’ data packs which offer maximum benefits for our customers.”

“We are constantly innovating in the data space since our customers’ demand for high-speed data is increasing manifold. And Aircel being one of the innovative players, we want to take the lead in making internet affordable for our customers,” he said.

Aircel has also introduced new voice call packs. To say, the subscribers can make unlimited local Aircel to Aircel calls at Rs. 299. The pack comes with a validity of 28 days. Another voice pack bundled with data at Rs. 349 will offer the users unlimited calling to all local mobile numbers with free 500 MB of 3G data for 14 days. For Rs. 649 pack, they can have unlimited local mobile calls with a validity of 28 days with free 1GB 3G data.
