Contradicting the earlier rumors surfaced across most of the online platforms, a recent listing on India's import and export tracking website Zauba suggests that Samsung Galaxy Note7 may come with a 6-inch display. However, considering the fact that most of the rumors surfaced earlier had trustworthy source support backing their argument of a 5.8-inch display, this 6-inch display could be another variant of the smartphone or even a mistake on Zauba’s listing (Ref: Below image. On July 2, the world famous tipster Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) unveiled few photos showing final marketing renders of the Galaxy Note7 in its three launch colors -- Black Onyx, Blue Coral, Silver Titanium. Evleaks also confirmed that it will come with a curved ‘Edge’ display like the Galaxy S7 Edge. The photographs also revealed an iris scanner beside the front camera.
Evan Blass earlier leaked a branding of Samsung Galaxy Note7, saying there is no gap between “Note” and “7”. Meanwhile, Forbes reported that it received photographs of Samsung Galaxy Note7 from a case maker Olixar. The Olixar cases flaunt an Edge display, Iris sensor, as well as a third detail - a USB Type-C port. A USB Type-C on the Galaxy Note 7 will be a key differentiating feature from the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
Furthermore, Samsung has made a huge leap with Virtual Reality, introducing Gear VR. However, Gear VR is limited to micro USB. If there be a Gear VR compatible with USB Type-C is not known.
Whatsoever, the speculations will get cleared sooner as the launch date of Samsung Galaxy Note7 is only a few weeks away on August 2, which again, was known through another leak.
