The Lenovo K4 Note was announced for the Indian market last week, and more than 200,000 interested consumers have shown interest in purchasing this smartphone through Amazon India. The Lenovo K4 Note is priced at Rs. 11,999, and is a spiritual successor to the Lenovo K3 Note. It features a metal body, a fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and a larger 3,300 mAh battery.
The registrations to participate in the flash sale, which will happen on January 19, started on January 5. The Lenovo K4 Note will come pre-loaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop, and will most probably receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. There's a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display and a front-facing dual stereo speakers with 1.5W output and Dolby ATMOS-enabled audio to satisfy all your multimedia needs.
Hardware wise, it's rocking a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processing chipset, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, and an option to increase the storage capacity using a microSD card. There's a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with phase-detection autofocus, ƒ/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Additional features include a touch-based fingerprint sensor, similar to what we've seen on the Coolpad Note 3, Huawei Honor 7, and the LG Nexus 5X. There are three microphones that help in noise cancellation as well as clearer audio while recording videos. Connectivity features include dual-SIM with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth with LE, and microUSB v2.0 port with USB OTG.
At a price of Rs. 11,999, the Lenovo K4 Note competes with the Xiaomi Mi 4i, the Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen), the Samsung Galaxy On7, and the Panasonic Eluga Mark. However, if you care for software updates, you should have a look at the Moto G (3rd Gen), which has started receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
