Den Boomband introduces 20Mbps broadband plan at Rs 900

DEN Boomband, the broadband service from the cable operator DEN Networks, has introduced its broadband plans for Delhi, Gurgaon, and Jodhpur. These plans offers speed from 5Mbps to 100Mbps starting at Rs. 599.

The plans are divided into four speed categories based on speeds ranging from 5 Mbps to 100 Mbps. Under each speed category, customers can choose plans based on usage requirement from 15GB to 100GB. The upload speed for 5Mbps plan is 1Mbps and for 20Mbps plan, the upload speed is 2Mbps. For 50Mbps and 100Mbps plans, DEN is offering upload speeds of 4Mbps.

Post FUP speed

  • For 5Mbps 15GB plan, post FUP download speed is 128 Kbps.
  • For 5 Mbps, 30 GB, post FUP download speed is 512 Kbps.
  • All other 30 GB and 40 GB, post FUP download speed is 1 Mbps
  • All 50 GB and 100 GB, post FUP download speed is 2 Mbps

DEN Boomband uses DOCSIS 3.0 Technology to deliver speeds up to 100 Mbps to its subscribers. Earlier last month, we had reported DEN Networks had selected Alcatel-Lucent technology for its ultra-broadband service. The company is in the process of scaling up broadband services rapidly in other parts of Delhi and selected cities of Uttar Pradesh.
