Samsung installs free solar-powered mobile stations at select Smart Cafes across Bengaluru

Samsung is taking up solar charging to a new level, and the first city that has come under its agenda is Bengaluru. The company has installed free Solar charging mobile stations at select Samsung smart cafes around the city.

Samsung-The facility is open for anybody to use, and Samsung touts it to be “first-of-its-kind in India” with less maintenance requirements. The charging point’s capacity is 300 KW and it can easily charge over 20 handsets a day. The facility has been set up in Bangalore at these locations — CMH Road, Indiranagar, Sarjapura Road, Sahakaranagar, Malleshwaram, and Vijaynagar.




Moreover, Samsung also revealed the availability timeline of its much-awaited Galaxy S6 Edge+ in Bengaluru. Samsung India Vice President, Marketing, IT & Mobile, Asim Warsi said in a statement,”The Galaxy S6 edge+ will be available across all retail points from August 28 in a Gold Platinum and all new Silver Titanium color at a price of Rs. 57,900.

” Talking about the device further Warsi added,"The Galaxy S6 edge+ will be manufactured from our Noida facility to meet the demand of the Indian consumers... the Indian R&D team has been intricately involved in the development of various key features in the Galaxy S6 Edge+ like the 'Live Video broadcast', People Edge, Easy share, Camera and the My Profile,"
