Lava is constantly launching budget smartphones in the country and has just taken the covers off a new selfie-centric smartphone called the Iris X1 Selfie for Rs 6,777. The Iris X1 Selfie is meant for the photography buffs who love the front camera more than the rear one. The device gets a 5-megapixel camera up front with a LED flash. The rear camera has an 8-megapixel resolution and it teams up with a LED flash.
The display of the device is a 4.5-inch IPS unit and the smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the box and this is something we really appreciate. There's a 1.3GHz quad-core processor ticking inside it. 1GB of RAM takes care of the multitasking department. Like majority of the budget devices out there, even this one is a dual-SIM device.
